Artist Statement

Growing up, I always kept a diary. These diaries usually consisted of cheap composition books and scraps of paper hidden in the leaves of textbooks.

As I came into my own as an Artist, I discovered that the process of making Art was therapeutic. My Art would soon replace the stacks of papers with shelves of canvas documenting grotesque motifs and personal narratives.

My paintings are a purifying process. I've captured a piece of myself and took control of it. I trapped it and your viewing of it is the exorcism.
